10 Years of "Black Mask": Anarchist Community Radio in Winnipeg
Contributed by macho on Fri, 2009/06/05 - 2:32pm
Winnipeg anarchist radio show Black Mask recently celebrated 10 years on the air at CKUW 95.9fm. We've celebrated by launching our own website to archive new radio segments and news headlines.
You can check out podcasts of interviews we've done with various folks, including:
- A participant in December's anarchist uprisings in Greece
- An analysis of the criminal conviction of the Pirate Bay file-sharing website last month in Sweden
- John Clarke, of the Ontario Coalition Against Poverty, on the legacy of the 1919 Winnipeg General Strike.
- Roanna Hepburn, a Winnipegger seeking justice after the brutal and racist police beating of her granddaughter in March
We're looking forward to hearing your feedback, and to ten more years on the air!
