Arrests in France: A Solidarity Event with the French Rebels

In the context, since 2001 and before, of the « war on terrorism », everywhere the states impose their mechanisms of repression against social struggles. In France, this situation is a pretext to chase down a so-called « anarcho-autonomous mouvement ».

Since the « Tarnac 9 » were arrested on November 11th, 2008, the story of their alleged sabotage of TGV line is everywhere in the French media. Similar situations have received less attention, but the comrades arrested (Isa, Juan, Damien, and others in France and elsewhere) were also targets of anti-terrorism measures.

During this infonight, texts written by French comrades and others will be read, and videos and images will be shown, feeding a discussion that will take place throughout the night. It will adress topics brought up by this situation and related struggles.
