Maybe more than a hundred thousand people in the streets. It has not been here long. 21st
April held a massive demonstration in Prague, which convened some trade unions and civic
initiatives. When the march and subsequent rally in Wenceslas Square was: "Stop the
government!" ---- How much louder the call, the more it was a government deaf. Arrogant
politicians live up to its reputation as a voice of one of the biggest demonstrations not
a bit neglected. Finance Minister Kalousek even an hour after the demonstration mockingly
said that the government has nothing of his intentions and does not intend to change if it
depended only on him, the government's reforms would be even harder. ---- There is no
doubt whose interests they defend government policy. The interests of ordinary people
certainly are not.
