At many jobs nowadays you are told that, lucky you, they have âflexibleâ hours. Flexible
sounds nice, doesnât it? Not regimentation, flexibility for management and insecurity for
you. ---- I used to work for a fast food chain restaurant, much like Burger King or
McDonalds. Apparent from free uniforms (hey hey!) we were blessed with flexible working
hours and work incentives.

About 50 people gathered in the biggest hall of Berlin's Higher Court on the morning of
June 10th. They were waiting for the decision on the FAU Berlin's appeal on whether they
could call themselves a union. Only 15 minutes into the trial, the judge delivered the
verdict. The injunction is overturned; the ban is repealed; the crowd goes wild.

Alberta tar sands equipment supplier opens in Billings

A major supplier of equipment to the rapidly expanding oil and gas market in the Alberta tar sands has set up shop in Billings.
