[Vancouver] African Peace Festival
The African Peace Festival aims to:
-showcase local African artists, musicians, NGOS and entrepeneurs
-to fund a grassroots initiative in Africa
-to raise awareness of African issues
-to expose BC to African culture and artists,
-to unite the African diaspora to work for peace and justice on the African continent
This year the African Peace Festival is supporting an initiative to
raise money for AMURT, a grassroots women's family health and empowerment
project in Burkina Faso.
