Resist.ca Turns Two

Happy birthday to Resist.ca! Although the Resist! Collective has been around in
one form or another for over five years now, we have only been running the
resist.ca website and offering @resist.ca email addresses and lists to social
justice focused individuals and organizations around the globe since October 26,
2002.

Hundreds of behind-the-scene hours have been logged by a tireless crew of
collective members and other volunteers in order to keep the servers running and
the over 1000 users and 50,000 monthly visitors to the web site happy.

In light of the recent government crackdowns on independent news services and
alternative technical projects, our second birthday wish is
to avoid the terrible two's and continue our strong track record of reliable
email and web services with limited downtime and regularly updated news.
