Vancouver, Sunday, November 26th, 2006.

In response to an invitation-only consultation organized by the Canadian
Cross-Cultural Roundtable on Security Secretariat on issues of National
Security, approximately 25 members of immigrant and refugee communities
and allies gathered for an emergency rally to express their opposition to
Canada’s current National Security Strategy.

The event was organized on private property at the remote Westin Bayshore
